We’re looking for a Product Manager to launch and own the roadmap for core systems that enable the build, management and optimisation of data in Voiceflow. Our customers will use these tools as building blocks to design amazing conversational experiences.
Data Management is an emerging field under the conversation automation umbrella - you’ll be at the forefront of defining the category experience for not just Voiceflow, but the industry.
Reporting into the Group PM (Core), you’ll collaborate with our Machine Learning Team Lead and a host of world-class devs to own:
-
NLU Data - Build the dataset that powers an Assistant’s NLU by importing, classifying, testing, analyzing, and optimizing training data
-
Response Content - Design dynamic interactions for end users with multi-modal, contextual response content
-
External Data Sources - Power high-context interaction by consuming internal and 3rd party data sources
-
Business Logic - Define the contextual paths that exist in a conversation by setting the business rules that guide them
What you’ll do
-
Strategy and Roadmap - For your product area: support strategic planning (quarterly), manage the roadmap, and re-prioritize work (on-going)
-
Project Scoping - Collect feedback from customers, assess our product data, and conduct any research necessary to figure out the scope and requirements for projects
-
Solution Design - Work closely with Design and Engineering to define the best experience for each feature
-
Planning and Management - Set your team’s priorities, and support your dev lead on sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint refinement, daily standup, etc.
-
Go To Market - Partner with Marketing and Customer Success to create feature release plans (documentation, tutorials, internal testing, beta rollouts, metrics reporting, and team enablement)
-
Analyze the Data - Track and measure the product metrics for your product area to understand adoption, pain points, and opportunities for iteration
-
Customer Engagement - Actively engage with our users and their work to understand their use cases, expectations and pain points when using our platform
What you’ll bring
- You have 2+ years working as a Product/Program Manager or comparable role
- You’ve launched a new feature/product to market
- You can communicate with both a technical and non-technical audience in your writing and in meetings
- You have a deep interest in building conversational products
- You are interested in working with product, design and engineering teams to improve our product development process
- You find resolutions by collecting as much information as possible - qualitative, quantitative, feedback from your team and customers
- You are able to prioritize projects and create focus for the team/business by saying ‘No’
- Experience building and delivering content management systems is a big plus
- You're a nice person - it just makes working together so much more enjoyable!
